COMPOSITION
You share the story of your song, your feelings and your vision of it. We will listen to your demo and some references to improve our understanding of what exactly it is that you need.

On this basis, we will begin our creative process until we achieve an exclusive and personalized arrangement, tailor made to do your song justice.
PRODUCTION
We work with some of the best string players in Germany to make sure that your arrangements are performed at the highest musical level. In our studio, which specializes in acoustic music, we can optimally capture this excellent sound.

ABOUT US
Karla Dominguez, composition
I work as a flutist, songwriter and composer. Born in Managua, Nicaragua, I grew up listening to the folk music and popular rhythms of Latin America - and I loved it!
​
After studying architecture, I decided to follow my true passion: music. I studied early European music at the Musikhochschule in Wuppertal/Cologne and later devoted myself intensively to classical music as well as jazz in Freiburg.
​
My ideal as a composer is to take popular music to a higher level in which the borders to “serious” music are blurred. With MÉTELE CUERDAS I put my knowledge, passion and experience at the service of your songs!

I had a fascination with technology from an early age, but I also had a great passion for music. That's why after studying computer science I wasn't satisfied with merely sitting in front of a computer all day and eventually studied jazz double bass.
​
Since then I have become very active as a musician. At the same time, I got more and more involved with audio engineering and founded Rübezahl Studio in 2020, which specializes in acoustic music recording and production. Here my seemingly conflicting passions can really flourish!
​
Recording strings has always been a special pleasure for me. It is deeply satisfying to capture their stunning sound so transparently and vividly, that not only the notes, but also the emotions pour out of the speakers. With MÉTELE CUERDAS I can do exactly that.
